- Why so few in professional sports?
- Stigma against sports, so even if interested, queer people turn away from professional levels
- Highly sexualized environment
- LGBT-friendly traveling: American Airlines, Delta, Hilton
- They have Gay and Lesbian travel pages online
- Perhaps they allow for transfer of travel funds among partners, as opposed to just "family"

ReplyDeleteMy name is Jenn Petersen and I am reaching out to your organization on behalf of the Pastel Circus animation team.
We are an organization comprised of eight students at California State University Channel Islands and Loyola Marymount University who are involved in a capstone project for the Fall semester of 2016. For our project we will be creating animations focusing on the representation of oppressed and under highlighted groups with a special focus on members of the LGBTQIA+ community.
The reason we are reaching out to your club is because your involvement with the LGBTQIA+ community aligns with our team’s values and we would like to create a partnership between our project and your organization. This could include screenings of our animations at your events, and other collaborations of that nature depending on the individual needs of your groups.
